Oil-beeswax emulsions and emulsions in which the specific gravity of the internal phase was adjusted to equal that of the external phase were investigated. A size frequency method of analysis was used to evaluate stability. Results indicated that beeswax had no effect on emulsion stability. Adjustment of specific gravity decreased specific interfacial area but increased stability in some instances.
