The value of thromboelastography in evaluating the efficacy of Xueshuantong combined with edaravone in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction.

To explore the value of thromboelastography (TEG) in evaluating the efficacy of Xueshuantong combined with edaravone for the treatment of acute cerebral infarction (ACI). We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 96 patients with ACI treated with Xueshuantong combined with edaravone and monitored by TEG. The correlation between the results of TEG examination and treatment outcomes in patients after treatment was analyzed. After treatment, 65 of 96 patients showed good efficacy and 31 had poor efficacy. kinetic time (KT), reaction time (RT), and the percentage of clot lysis at 30 minutes after Ma value (LY30) of patients with good therapeutic effects were significantly higher than those with poor therapeutic effects; However, maximum amplitude (MA) and coagulation index (CI) were significantly lower than those with poor efficacy (P < .05). There was a significant positive correlation between KT, RT, and LY30 and the therapeutic effect of ACI, and a significant negative correlation between the therapeutic effects of MA, CI, and ACI (P < .05). Logistic analysis confirmed that KT, RT, and LY30 were protective factors for the therapeutic effect of ACI; MA and CI were risk factors for the therapeutic effect of ACI (P < .05). TEG has a high value in evaluating the efficacy of Xueshuantong combined with edaravone in the treatment of ACI. It can clarify changes in the coagulation function of patients, thereby guiding clinical follow-up treatment.

Improvement in the Nutritional and Clinical Status of Patients with Acute Cerebral Infarction Combined with Dysphagia by Enhanced Recovery After Surgery Care

Compared with acute cerebral infarction alone, the nutritional status of patients with acute cerebral infarction and dysphagia is significantly worse, which not only negatively impacts clinical treatment, but also contributes to the poor prognosis of patients. In traditional clinical treatment, more focus is placed on improving the neurological function of patients with acute cerebral infarction combined with dysphagia, often neglecting their nutritional status, leading to unsatisfactory prognosis. In this study, we explored the influence of enhanced recovery after surgery care on the neurological function and nutritional status of patients with acute cerebral infarction combined with dysphagia after thrombolytic therapy. It was found that the use of enhanced recovery after surgery care improved neurological function and nutritional status and reduced blood pressure and stress responses, while promoting the recovery of patients’ muscle strength. Therefore, enhanced recovery after surgery care has high application value in the future clinical treatment of acute cerebral infarction combined with dysphagia.

Omentin-1 May Be One Treatment Factor for Intravenous Thrombolysis of Acute Cerebral Infarction Through the Inhibition of NLRP3 Ubiquitination by AMPK Function: Preliminary Findings.

Acute cerebral infarction (ACI) is a common neurological disease that is associated with high morbidity, disability and mortality rates. At present, antiplatelet therapy is a necessary treatment for ACI. The present study aimed to investigate the effects of omentin-1 on the intravenous thrombolysis of ACI. The present study aimed to investigate the effects of omentin-1 on the intravenous thrombolysis of ACI. The mouse model of ACI was induced using male C57BL/6 mice through middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO). Meanwhile, the murine BV2 microglial cells were pretreated with 0.1 mg/ml of lipopolysaccharide (LPS), and then induced with 2 mM of adenosine triphosphate (ATP). The omentin-1 mRNA expression in patients receiving intravenous thrombolysis for ACI was down-regulated compared with the normal group. Additionally, the serum level of omentin-1 was negatively correlated with National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) score or serum level of IL-1β or MMP-2 in patients receiving intravenous thrombolysis for ACI. Meanwhile, the serum mRNA expression of omentin-1 was positively correlated with Barthel index or high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) in patients undergoing intravenous thrombolysis for ACI. As observed from the in vitro model, Omentin-1 reduced inflammation, promoted cell growth, alleviated ROS-induced oxidative stress, and enhanced AMPK activity through activating NLRP3 ubiquitination. Omentin-1 presented ACI in the mouse model of ACI. Regulating AMPK activity contributed to controlling the effects of Omentin-1 on the in vitro model. Omentin-1 reduced neuroinflammation and ROS-induced oxidative stress in the mouse model of ACI, which was achieved by inhibiting NLRP3 ubiquitination through regulating AMPK activity. Therefore, omentin-1 may serve as a treatment factor for the intravenous thrombolysis of ACI in further clinical application.

Effects of Solitaire AB stent thrombectomy with tirofiban and butylphthalide on neurological function and inflammatory factors in acute cerebral infarction patients

Background Acute cerebral infarction profoundly affects patients’ neurological function and quality of life. This study explores the impact of Solitaire AB stent thrombectomy, combined with tirofiban and butylphthalide, on neurological function and inflammatory factors in patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods Seventy-three eligible patients treated between 2021 and 2023 were divided into a control group (Solitaire AB stent thrombectomy) and a treatment group (Solitaire AB stent thrombectomy with tirofiban and butylphthalide). Postoperative neurological function scores and inflammatory factor levels were analyzed. Results The treatment group demonstrated a higher clinical effective rate, lower National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale scores at one day and seven days and higher Mini-Mental State Examination and Montreal Cognitive Assessment scores post-treatment. Inflammatory factor levels (Neuron Specific Enolase (NSE), S100-β, TNF-α and IL-6) were lower in the treatment group. No significant differences in adverse outcomes were observed. Conclusion Solitaire AB stent thrombectomy with tirofiban and butylphthalide shows superior efficacy, improving neurological function and inflammatory factors without increasing adverse outcomes. This offers valuable insights for clinical treatment of acute cerebral infarction.

Risk factors for intraprocedural hypoxemia in patients with acute cerebral ischemia treated with vascular intervention and its impact on prognosis: A retrospective cohort study.

Acute cerebral infarction (ACI) is one of the most common ischemic cerebrovascular diseases in neurology, with high morbidity, mortality, and disability. Early thrombolytic treatment of ACI has significant efficacy, but intraprocedural complications of hypoxemia can significantly reduce the efficacy. This study aims to analyze the risk factors for intraprocedural hypoxemia in patients with ACI, so as to take effective measures in advance to reduce the likelihood of adverse patient outcomes. We retrospectively analyzed a total of 238 patients with ACI treated with vascular interventions from May 2017 to May 2022. To assess and collate the patients' characteristics, factors associated with the development of intraprocedural hypoxemia. The independent risk factors for the development of intraprocedural hypoxemia were analyzed by binary logistic regression. A total of 238 patients were included in this study. Of these, intraprocedural hypoxemia occurred in 89 (37.4%). The results showed that old age (odds ratio [OR] = 2.666, P = 0.009), obesity (OR = 3.029, P = 0.003), smoking history (OR = 2.655, P = 0.010), preoperative oxygen saturation (SpO2) (OR = 0.001, P = 0.042), preoperative C-reactive protein (OR = 1.216, P = 0.002), and time from puncture to vascular recanalization (OR = 1.135, P = 0.000) were independent risk factors for intraprocedural hypoxemia in patients. The prognosis of the patients was assessed according to the modified Rankin scale, and the prognosis of the nonhypoxemia group was significantly better than that of the hypoxemia group. Regression analysis showed that intraprocedural hypoxemia (OR = 0.360, P = 0.001), postoperative lower extremity vein thrombosis (OR = 0.187, P = 0.018), hydrocephalus (OR = 0.069, P = 0.015), intracranial hemorrhage (OR = 0.116, P = 0.002), and reocclusion (OR = 0.217, P = 0.036) were independent risk factors for poor prognosis. Currently, intravascular hypoxemia in patients with ACI has a serious impact on prognosis. Clinical work should attach great importance to the clinical characteristics of patients, identify relevant risk factors, and aggressively take personalized therapeutic actions to improve patients' prognosis.

Clinical study of Edaravone Dexborneol combined with Tirofiban in treatment of Acute Cerebral Infarction.

To explore the clinical efficacy and safety of edaravone dexborneol combined with tirofiban in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction. This is a retrospective study. A total of 80 patients with acute cerebral infarction (ACI) treated in Cangzhou People's Hospital from March 2018 to December 2021 were selected, and randomly divided into the routine group(n=40) and intervention group(n=40) according to the principle of random draw. Neurological deficits in the two groups were evaluated and compared before and after treatment using the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS). The quality of life of the patients was evaluated by the modified Rankin Scale (mRS). Before treatment, NIHSS and mRS scores of the two groups were not statistically significant(p>0.05); the levels of Vmin and Qmin in the two groups showed no statistical significance(p>0.05); no statistical significance was found in CRP or IL-6 levels between the two groups(p>0.05). After treatment for 14 days, the NIHSS and mRS scores of the two groups both decreased, which was more significant in the intervention group(p<0.05); Vmin and Qmin levels increased in both groups, which was more obvious in the intervention group(p<0.05); CRP and IL-6 levels reduced in both groups, which was more remarkable in the intervention group(p<0.05). The incidences of relevant adverse drug reactions presented no differences between the two groups during treatment(p>0.05). Edaravone dexborneol combined with tirofiban in the treatment of ACI can effectively improve patients' neurological deficits, quality of life and cerebral blood flow, and reduce inflammatory factor levels, have significant clinical efficacy and high clinical treatment safety.

Value of MRI T2 FLAIR Vascular Hyperintensities Combined with DWI ASPECTS in Predicting the Prognosis of Acute Cerebral Infarction with Endovascular Treatment.

To explore the MRI T2 fluid-attenuated inversion recovery (FLAIR) vascular hyperintensities (FVH) combined with diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) Alberta Stroke Program Early CT Score (ASPECTS) in predicting the prognosis of acute cerebral infarction (ACI) with endovascular treatment. The patients with ACI in the anterior circulation who underwent endovascular treatment from June 2016 to December 2020 were divided into a good prognosis group and a poor prognosis group according to the modified Rankin Scale (mRS) score at 90 days after the operation. The differences in general clinical baseline data, CT-ASPECTS, FVH, and DWI-ASPECTS between the two groups were analyzed. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was used to analyze the predictive power of prediction models on prognosis. The results of the Binomial Logistic regression equation showed initial National Institute of Health stroke scale (NIHSS), Mori grade, DWI-ASPECTS, and FVH were independent risk factors for prognosis. The predictive power of the FVH + DWI-ASPECTS prediction model was highest, and the predictive power of DWI-ASPECTS was higher than that of CT-ASPECTS. DWI-ASPECTS is better than CT-ASPECTS in predicting the prognosis of ACI with endovascular treatment, and the combined prediction model of FVH and DWI-ASPECTS has higher prediction performance, which can be used as a preoperative evaluation method to predict the effect of endovascular treatment for ACI.

Clinical Efficacy of the Huo Xue Hua Yu Method Combined with Aspirin in the Treatment of Acute Cerebral Infarction: A systematic evaluation and Meta-Analysis.

The study aimed to evaluate the clinical efficacy of the Huo Xue Hua Yu method combined with aspirin in the treatment of patients with acute cerebral infarction (ACI). By searching electronic databases, such as the Chinese Biomedical Literature Database (CBM), the China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database (CNKI), the China Science and Technology Journal Database, Wanfang, PubMed, Embase, and the Cochrane Library, all randomized controlled trials (RCTs) published before 14 July, 2022, and published in Chinese or English languages were selected. Statistical analysis was performed using Review Manager 5.4 calculation software to calculate the odds ratio (OR), mean difference (MD), 95% confidence interval (CI), and p values. 13 articles that included 1,243 patients were identified; in 646 of them, the Huo Xue Hua Yu method combined with aspirin has been administered, while 597 have only been administered aspirin therapy. The combined treatment significantly improved clinical efficacy (OR: 4.41, 95% CI: 2.90 to 5.84, P < 0.001, I2 = 0), as assessed by the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale score (MD= -4.18, 95% CI: -5.69 to -2.67, P < 0.001, I2 = 94%), Barthel score (MD = -2.23, 95% CI: -2.66 to -1.81, P < 0.001, I2 = 82%), the China Stroke Scale score (MD = 6.74, 95% CI: -3.49 to 16.96, P = 0.20, I2 = 99%), packed cell volume (MD = -8.45, 95% CI: -8.81 to -8.09, P < 0.001, I2 = 98%), fibrinogen levels (MD = -0.93, 95% CI: -1.23 to -0.63, P < 0.001, I2 = 78%) and plasma viscosity (MD = -0.51, 95% CI: -0.72 to -0.30, P < 0.001, I2 = 62%). The combination of the Huo Xue Hua Yu method and aspirin represents a beneficial adjunctive therapy for ACI.

Remote ischemic conditioning in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction: A case control study

ObjectiveThis paired case-control study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of remote ischemic conditioning (RIC) in patients with acute cerebral infarction (CI) and explore potential serological markers of RIC. MethodsPatients with acute CI (<72 h) were matched 1:1 according to age, sex, and CI conditions and were divided into the RIC group and the control group. The RIC group received RIC intervention for 7 days on top of routine treatment, while the control group received a sham RIC. The curative effects and adverse reactions were observed. ResultA total of 66 patients (mean age 60.00 ± 11.37 years; mean time of acute CI onset 32.91 ± 17.94 h) completed the study. The National Institute of Health stroke scale score on day 7, modified Rankin Scale scores on day 7 and day 90 were significantly lower than the baseline in the RIC group (P < 0.001, P = 0.003, P = 0.004, respectively) but not in the control group (P = 0.056, P = 0.169, P = 0.058, respectively). RIC was well-tolerated, and no adverse events were reported. Both plasma hypoxia-inducible factor-1α (HIF-1α) and vascular endothelial growth factor increased in the RIC group from day 0 to day 7, while they decreased in the control group. The changes in plasma HIF-1α in the RIC group were statistically different from those in the control group (P = 0.006). ConclusionEarly and short-term RIC treatment was well-tolerated and effective in improving the prognosis in acute CI. HIF-1α can be recognized as a biomarker for evaluating the efficacy of RIC treatment.

Effects of NBP injection on the inflammatory response, oxidative stress response and vascular endothelial function in patients with ACI: A systematic review and meta-analysis.

Acute cerebral infarction (ACI) is a common medical emergency. This study is the first systematic review of the use of Dl-3-n-butylphthalide (NBP) injection in the treatment of ACI. The purpose of this study was to systematically evaluate the effects of NBP injection on the inflammatory response, oxidative stress response and vascular endothelial function in patients with acute ACI. The objective is to provide reference for clinical application. From the establishment of the database until August 2022, we systematically searched EMbase, PubMed, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, CNKI, VIP, and Wanfang Database. RCTs and retrospective studies were included in this study, and the results that qualified for inclusion were screened by 2 researchers and cross-checked. After the relevant data were extracted, a meta-analysis was performed using RevMan5.3 software. A total of 3307 patients with ACI from 34 studies were analyzed. The meta-analysis showed that the C-reactive protein levels in the NBP combined group were effectively reduced compared with those in the control group (MD = -3.75, 95% confidence intervals [95% CI] [-4.95, -2.56], P < .00001). Based on comparison with the control group, it is evident that combination treatment with NBP is more effective than control group in reducing the oxidative stress response of ACI (MD[superoxide dismutase levels] = 22.16, 95% CI [14.20,30.11], P < .00001; MD[malondialdehyde levels] = -1.97, 95% CI [-2.62, -1.32], P < .00001). Comparison with the control group shows that combination treatment with NBP is more effective in improving vascular endothelial function in ACI patients (MD[vascular endothelial growth factor levels] = 71.44, 95% CI [41.22, 101.66], P < .00001; MD[endothelin-1 levels] = -11.47, 95% CI [-17.39, -5.55], P = .0001; MD[nitric oxide levels] = 9.54, 95% CI [8.39, 10.68], P < .00001) than control group. The NBP combined group also showed a greater reduction in cerebral infarct volume (CIV) and cerebral infarct size (CIS) of ACI (MD[CIV] = -1.52, 95% CI [-2.23, -0.81], P < .0001; MD[CIS] = -2.79, 95% CI [-3.65, -1.94], P < .00001). The NBP combined group did not show an increase in the incidence of adverse reactions compared with the control group (odds ratio = 1.06, 95% CI [0.73, 1.53], P = .77). In summary, the use of NBP in combination with control group for ACI can reduce the degree of nerve damage, reduce inflammation and oxidative stress, improve vascular endothelial function, and reduce CIS and CIV in ACI patients, without increasing the incidence of clinical adverse events.

Edaravone combined with Shuxuening versus edaravone alone in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction: A systematic review and meta-analysis.

Shuxuening injection (SXN) is a traditional Chinese medicine used in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. Whether it can provide better outcomes when combined with edaravone injection (ERI) for the treatment of acute cerebral infarction is not well determined. Therefore, we evaluated the efficacy of ERI combined with SXN versus that of ERI alone in patients with acute cerebral infarction. PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, and Wanfang electronic databases were searched up to July 2022. Randomized controlled trials comparing the outcomes of efficacy rate, neurologic impairment, inflammatory factors, and hemorheology were included. Odds ratio or standard mean difference (SMD) with corresponding 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were used to present the overall estimates. The quality of the included trials was evaluated by the Cochrane risk of bias tool. The study was performed according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses. Seventeen randomized controlled trials were included consisting of 1607 patients. Compared to ERI alone, treatment with ERI plus SXN had a greater effective rate than ER alone (odds ratio = 3.94; 95% CI: 2.85, 5.44; I2 = 0%, P < .00001), a lower National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (SMD= -1.39; 95% CI: -1.73, -1.05; I2 = 71%, P < .00001), lower neural function defect score (SMD= -0.75; 95% CI: -1.06,-0.43; I2 = 67%, P < .00001), and lower level of neuron-specific enolase (SMD= -2.10; 95% CI: -2.85, -1.35; I2 = 85%, P < .00001). ERI plus SXN treatment provided significant improvements in whole blood high shear viscosity (SMD = -0.87; 95% CI: -1.17, -0.57; I2 = 0%, P < .00001), and whole blood low shear viscosity (SMD = -1.50; 95% CI: -1.65, -1.36; I2 = 0%, P < .00001) compared to ERI alone. ERI plus SXN showed better efficacy than ERI alone for patients with acute cerebral infarction. Our study provides evidence supporting the application of ERI plus SXN for acute cerebral infarction.

Selective intraarterial hypothermia combined with mechanical thrombectomy for acute cerebral infarction based on microcatheter technology: A single-center, randomized, single-blind controlled study.

To investigate the safety and efficacy of selective intraarterial hypothermia combined with mechanical thrombectomy in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction based on microcatheter technology. A total of 142 patients with anterior circulation large vessel occlusion were randomly assigned to the hypothermic treatment group (test group) and the conventional treatment group (control group). National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) scores, postoperative infarct volume, the 90-day good prognosis rate (modified Rankin Scale (mRS) score ≤ 2 points), and the mortality rate of the two groups were compared and analyzed. Blood specimens were collected from patients before and after treatment. Serum levels of superoxide dismutase (SOD), malondialdehyde (MDA), interleukin-6 (IL-6), IL-10, and RNA-binding motif protein 3 (RBM3) were measured. The 7-day postoperative cerebral infarct volume [(63.7 ± 22.1) ml vs. (88.5 ± 20.8) ml] and NIHSS scores at postoperative Days 1, 7, and 14 [(6.8 ± 3.8) points vs. (8.2 ± 3.5) points; (2.6 ± 1.6) points vs. (4.0 ± 1.8) points; (2.0 ± 1.2) points vs. (3.5 ± 2.1) points] in the test group were significantly lower than those in the control group. The good prognosis rate at 90 days postoperatively (54.9 vs. 35.2%, P = 0.018) was significantly higher in the test group than in the control group. The 90-day mortality rate was not statistically significant (7.0 vs. 8.5%, P = 0.754). Immediately after surgery and 1 day after surgery, SOD, IL-10, and RBM3 levels in the test group were relatively higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant. Immediately after surgery and 1 day after surgery, MDA and IL-6 levels in the test group were relatively reduced compared with those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). In the test group, RBM3 was positively correlated with SOD and IL-10. Mechanical thrombectomy combined with intraarterial cold saline perfusion is a safe and effective measure for the treatment of acute cerebral infarction. Postoperative NIHSS scores and infarct volumes were significantly improved with this strategy compared with simple mechanical thrombectomy, and the 90-day good prognosis rate was improved. The mechanism by which this treatment exerts its cerebral protective effect may be by inhibiting the transformation of the ischaemic penumbra of the infarct core area, scavenging some oxygen free radicals, reducing inflammatory injury to cells after acute infarction and ischaemia-reperfusion, and promoting RBM3 production in cells.

Mechanism of action of Shuxuening combination for acute cerebral infarction

Acute cerebral infarction has rapid onset, rapid development, complex disease, step aggravation, poor prognosis, and lack of safe and effective treatment countermeasures, which has become an urgent problem to be solved clinically. Early and timely administration of acute cerebral infarction and the combination of drugs are the key to treatment. Shuxuining is one of the commonly used Chinese medicine injections in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction. It can be combined with different western medicines to treat acute cerebral infarction to produce good effect, and alleviate the disadvantages of single drug treatment to a certain extent. This paper summarizes the mechanism of shuxuening combined with different western medicines in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction, and provides a new idea for the early combination of acute cerebral infarction and the treatment of integrated Chinese and western medicine.

Results of acute cerebral infarction treatment with hyperbaric oxygen therapy, 2020-2022.

Cerebral stroke is the third leading cause of death after cardiovascular disease, cancer and the leading cause of disability for patients. Hyperbaric oxygen is a non-drug treatment that has the potential to improve brain function for patients with ischaemic stroke. The objective of this study was to evaluate the results of treatment of acute cerebral infarction with hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT). This was a case-control study. One hundred ninety-five patients diagnosed with cerebral infarction, with signs of onset within 24 hours, were treated at the Centre for Underwater Medicine and Hyperbaric Oxygen of Vietnam National Institute of Maritime Medicine during the period from January 2020 to December 2022. Study group included 100 patients with acute cerebral infarction treated with a combination of HBOT and medication and reference group included 95 patients treated by medication only (antiplatelets drugs, statins, control of associated risks factors) RESULTS: After 7 days of treatment with hyperbaric oxygen (HBO), symptoms such as headache, dizziness, nausea, sensory disturbances, and Glasgow score of the study group improved better than that of the reference group (p < 0.01). Movement recovery in the study group was better than the reference group: the percentage of patients with mild and moderate paralysis in the study group increased higher than that of the reference group (86.0% and 68.4%), the degree of complete paralysis of the study group decreased more than that of the reference group (14.0% and 31.6%). The degree of independence in daily activities in the study group was better than the reference group. In the study group, the percentage of patients with complete independence in daily life increased from 27.0% to 84.0%. In the reference group, the rate of patients who were independent in their daily activities increased from 37.9% to 51.6%. Proteasome activator 28A: A clinical biomarker and pharmaceutical target in acute cerebral infarction therapy

Purpose: To determine the dynamic changes in serum levels of PA28α in patients with acute cerebral infarction (ACI), and to investigate its correlation with infarct size and neurological deficit of the disease. &#x0D; Methods: A total of 100 ACI patients and 100 healthy volunteers were recruited from The First Affiliated Hospital of Xinxiang Medical University as case and control groups, respectively. Their serum levels of PA28α were determined by quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). The potential of PA28α in predicting the incidence of ACI was assessed by plotting ROC curves. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was conducted to investigate the risk factors of ACI. In addition, an ACI model in rats was established, and ACI rats were classified into 1, 3, 5, 7 and 14 day subgroups based on the duration post-ACI. Rats in the sham group served as control. &#x0D; Results: Serum level of PA28α was significantly higher in ACI patients than in controls. Moreover, the serum level of PA28α at admission was positively correlated to the NIHSS score and infarct volume of ACI patients. The level of PA28α in ACI rats gradually increased post-ACI, reaching a peak on day 7. The number of apoptotic brain cells in ACI rats gradually decreased after ACI. In addition, PA28α level was negatively correlated to the number of apoptotic brain cells in ACI rats (R2 = 0.5148, p &lt; 0.001). &#x0D; Conclusion: The serum level of PA28α is elevated in ACI patients, and is positively correlated to infarct volume and neurological deficit of the disease. The dynamic change in brain cell apoptosis post-ACI is negatively correlated to the serum level of PA28α. These findings may provide theoretical basis for the diagnosis and treatment of ACI.
