Peningkatan Aktivitas Belajar Peserta Didik Kelas VIIC SMPN 3 Sungai Kakap Melalui Model Think Pair Share Berbantuan PowerPoint

This study is motivated by the low activeness of students in class VII C SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Kakap during the science learning process so that it has an impact on student learning outcomes. This study aims to improve the learning activities of VII C grade students at SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Kakap on the topic of Indonesian ecology and biodiversity through the application of the Think Pair Share (TPS) model assisted by powerpoint. The type of research used is classroom action research in the form of two cycles and each cycle consists of two meetings. The research procedure went through four stages starting with planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. A total of 32 students of class VII C in the 2023/2024 school year became the research subjects. Data collection was carried out using observation and documentation methods and the instrument used was the student learning activity observation sheet. The results showed that the percentage of students' learning activities in cycle I was 68.75% and in cycle II it was 88.44%. Based on these data, it is concluded that the application of the TPS model assisted by powerpoint can increase the learning activity of students in class VII C SMPN 3 Sungai Kakap, especially in the topic of Indonesian ecology and biodiversity.

Pengaruh Keaktifan Belajar Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah

This literature study examines the effect of learning activeness on learning outcomes in various Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Indonesia. In order for student learning outcomes to improve, teachers need to have the ability to develop student learning activeness in every learning process. Efforts to generate student learning activeness are needed so that the implementation of learning activities can run effectively. This study uses a literature review approach by analyzing various related scientific sources. The results showed that student learning activeness affects the improvement of student learning outcomes. Learning activeness has an important role because it can encourage self-confidence and improve student learning outcomes.

Science Skill-Based Activities for Senior High School Students

Science enables students to seek knowledge and practice relevant scientific processes to provide meaningful solutions or information that can contribute to the development of society. This study aimed to create a science learning activity for senior high school students that integrates learning skills in science such as information retrieval, scientific reading, data representation, scientific writing, and knowledge presentation. The subjects of this study, which was employed through purposive sampling, were Grade 12 STEM students and Science teachers from Batangas’ 2nd Congressional District-Area II. Documentary analysis was used to analyze the least mastered competencies in earth science, general biology, general chemistry, and general physics. An interview was also used to reinforce the data collection and analysis. The content’s relevancy influences the students’ attitudes and interests, the teachers’ teaching tactics, and the opportunity to learn collaboratively. The student’s learning skills in science were honed by the learning activities provided by their teacher. However, the students’ data representation and knowledge presentation skills must be strengthened. Different pedagogical considerations may be emphasized in developing a learning activity to boost student engagement and achieve a better learning experience.

Conservation Education as an Effort to Develop Environmentally Caring Character

This study aims to describe the use of Picture to improve the ability to master English vocabulary of grade V students of SDN 1 Mangkung for the 2023/2024 school year. In data collection researchers use observation, test and documentation techniques. The data were analyzed in a qualitative descriptive manner. The study was conducted in 2 cycles starting with preliminary studies. During the study, researchers found that in the pre-cycle, the level of students' vocabulary mastery ability was still low, which was 55.8% in the range of 40% - 55%. In the first cycle after students were given actions using Picture, the student's ability level increased to 61.5% and entered the medium criteria (56%-75%). In cycle II after students were given actions based on observations in cycle I, students' vocabulary mastery ability increased to 78.3% so that it was included in the high criteria (76%-100%). From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of Picture can increase student learning activities and increase vocabulary mastery.

Improving Student Learning Activities through Brainstorming Learning Method in Civics Class X 7 at Madani Palu Integrated Model State Senior High School

This research aims to increase student learning activities through the Brainstorming learning method in the Civics Class X 7 subject at SMA Negeri Model Terpadu Madani Palu. The type of research used is classroom action research (PTK) which consists of II cycles. The research design follows the research stages which refer to the Kemmis and McTaggart model, namely: (1) planning stage, (2) implementation stage, (3) observation stage, (4) reflection stage. The subjects of this research were 30 students in class X 7 who took Civics subjects. Data collection techniques in this research were carried out using observation sheets, interviews and documentation. From the results of applying the Brainstorming learning method, the results obtained were able to increase student learning activity from cycle I to cycle II, namely teacher activity was obtained from 50% increasing to 76.66% and was included in the very good category. Based on observations of student activities in cycles I and II, it was found that there had been an increase, initially in cycle I there were still students who got a score of 1 and there were no students who got a score of 4, whereas in cycle II there were no students who got a score of 1 and there were several students who got a score of 1. score 4. And the results of observations of student learning activity indicators in cycle I and cycle II have increased, namely from a percentage of 50% to 100% in the "very good" category.

Сучасні цифрові технології для реалізації формувального оцінювання на уроках математики

The article is dedicated to the integration of contemporary digital technologies into the process of formative assessment in mathematics lessons, specifically focusing on the use of the Desmos platform. With the advancement of information technologies, new opportunities have emerged to enhance the effectiveness of formative assessment, particularly through providing timely feedback and adapting instruction to meet the individual needs of students. However, in Ukraine formative assessment is still often considered as a formal practice limited to one or several basic stages. The article examines the problems of introducing digital tools into the educational process and analyzes the experience of using Desmos to implement formative assessment. The platform allows teachers to create interactive tasks that help students better understand the material and track their own progress. Desmos also provides visualization of abstract mathematical concepts, which supports a deeper understanding of the material. Special attention is given to the importance of reflection and self-analysis for students, enabling them to recognize their successes and mistakes. The article emphasizes that the use of Desmos promotes active student engagement in the learning process, helps organize individualized instruction, and provides effective feedback. The conclusions highlight that, due to the flexibility and interactive capabilities of this application, teachers can not only organize and manage student learning activities but also ensure their active participation and independent learning. Additionally, the conclusions address the need for further research into the impact of the Desmos platform on students' academic achievements in the long term.

IMPACT OF FLIPPED CLASSROOM IN GENERIC STUDENTS IN COLLEGE OF NURSING, NISHTAR MEDICAL UNIVERSITY MULTAN

Traditional teaching methods in nursing education often fail to engage students in active learning, limiting their ability to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The flipped classroom model, which integrates pre-class independent learning with in-class active engagement, has shown promise in improving learning outcomes. Objective: To evaluate the impact of the flipped classroom model on academic performance, engagement, and perceptions among nursing students at the College of Nursing, Nishtar Medical University, Multan. Methods: A quasi-experimental pre-test and post-test design was used. A total of 130 BSN students were randomly assigned to experimental (flipped classroom) and control (traditional lecture) groups. Pre-class materials were provided to the experimental group, while the control group followed traditional lectures. Data were collected using a validated questionnaire and analyzed using IBM SPSS version 26. Results: The flipped classroom model significantly improved post-test scores, critical thinking, and engagement levels compared to traditional methods. Most students (85%) reported that the flipped classroom approach fostered lifelong learning skills, and 90% agreed it effectively integrated theory and practice. Key challenges included limited resources and infrequent use of flipped learning by educators. Conclusion: The flipped classroom model is an effective strategy for enhancing academic performance and engagement in nursing education. Addressing barriers such as faculty training and resource limitations is essential for its successful implementation in resource-constrained settings like Pakistan.

Linear Algebra Education in University: A Literature Review

The objective of this study is to conduct a thorough literature review in order to give a comprehensive understanding of the opportunities and challenges associated with the teaching and learning of linear algebra in university environments. The review assesses the pedagogical strategies used by academic institutions to enhance student engagement and comprehension, along with the application of linear algebra. We conducted a four-stage process to analyze five articles indexed in Scopus. The review emphasizes the importance of incorporating technology and real-world applications into linear algebra instruction to promote student motivation and active learning. It underscores the necessity of pedagogical approaches that promote student agency, particularly in online learning environments, where traditional teaching practices frequently persist. Exploring the correlation between learning outcomes and semantic networks, evaluating the impact of online platforms on student participation and agency, and evaluating real-world applications for teaching linear algebra are all potential future research directions.

Talking Stick Model to Increase Student Learning Activity

Stick learning models speak using stick media. After students can learn the main topic, students who carry sticks are responsible for answering the teacher's questions. This learning method is designed to find out how far students understand the material being taught. When a teacher does not involve students in the learning process actively, students do not get the opportunity to ask questions or give opinions. In addition, the use of minimal media in learning causes the learning process to be less effective. The method implemented by the teacher is less creative, which causes students to feel bored, and the teacher is unable to present the lesson in an interesting way. This study uses a qualitative approach with library analysis. The Talking Stick model helps the learning of students and makes them more active, responsible, confident, and independent. It also makes learning more interactive and easier to use by the teacher. Teachers and students who use this learning model can get a lot of developments and advantages in learning, but some students can still listen, but they are less able to show their speaking skills when their turn arrives.

Penerapan Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) untuk Meningkatkan Aktifitas dan Hasil Belajar

This research is a classroom action research, which was conducted in 2 cycles. The subjects of this study were X2 class students of SMA Negeri 3 Barru, totaling 30 people. The research was conducted in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. This study aims to determine the improvement of learning quality in the form of increased learning activities and biology learning outcomes through the application of Think Pair share (TPS) type cooperative learning. The results showed that the application of cooperative learning type Think Pair share (TPS). can improve the quality of learning in the form of activities and learning outcomes of biology. Student learning activities were measured using activity observation sheets with an average percentage value of 81.33% in cycle I increasing to 98.00% in cycle II or increasing by 16.67%. %. Biology learning outcomes of students as measured by the average score obtained and the percentage of student learning achievement, which is based on the KKTP value of 80. In cycle I the average score was 81.43 and the level of student learning achievement was 73.33% and in cycle II the average score increased to 87.50 or an increase of 6.07 and student learning achievement increased to 100% of students achieved their learning objectives or an increase of 26.67%.

Pengembangan E-LKPD Berbasis Problem Based Learning pada Materi Sistem Pernapasan Manusia untuk Meningkatkan Pola Berpikir Kritis Siswa SMA Negeri 5 Kota Tanjung Balai

Learning is a system consisting of several interrelated components (goals, materials, methods, learning evaluation). These components must be adjusted in the process of making a learning implementation plan. Students are guided to build their knowledge independently so that they can easily master the material obtained at school and then apply their knowledge in real life. This research aims to develop an Electronic Student Worksheet (E-LKPD) based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) on the human respiratory system, with a focus on improving students' critical thinking patterns at SMA Negeri 5 Tanjung Balai City. The method used in this research is the 4-D model developed by Thiagarajan, which consists of four stages: Define, Design, Develop, and Dissemination. The research results showed that the developed E-LKPD received a very good feasibility assessment, with a percentage of 96.8% from material experts, 96.25% from media experts, and 96.6% from practitioner experts. From these results, it can be concluded that the PBL-based E-LKPD developed is valid, practical and effective for use in the learning process. It is hoped that this e-LKPD can increase student learning activities and help teachers convey material in a more interesting and interactive way.

Hubungan Perhatian Orang Tua dan Motivasi Belajar dengan Keaktifan Belajar Siswa SD Negeri 22 Jeppe’e Kecamatan Tanete Riattang Barat Kabupaten Bone

The formulation of the problem in this study is how is the picture of parental attention, learning motivation, learning activity of UPT SD Negeri 22 Jeppe'e, Tanete Riattang Barat District, Bone Regency? and is there a significant relationship between parental attention and learning motivation with learning activity of UPT SD Negeri 22 Jeppe'e, Tanete Riattang Barat District, Bone Regency? This study is a correlation study that aims to determine the picture of parental attention, learning motivation, learning activity and the relationship between parental attention and learning motivation with learning activity of UPT SD Negeri 22 Jeppe'e, Tanete Riattang Barat District, Bone Regency. The research approach is a quantitative approach. Research data were obtained through questionnaires and documentation. The population in the study was all students of the upper class at UPT SD Negeri 22 Jeppe'e, Tanete Riattang Barat sub-district, Bone regency, totaling 54 students. The sample in the study was 54 students. The data analysis technique was descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results obtained in this study are a description of parental attention showing a very high category and learning motivation showing a very high category with learning activity showing a high category and parental attention and learning motivation having a significant relationship to student learning activity, especially in the upper class of UPT SD Negeri 22 Jeppe'e, Tanete Riattang Barat sub-district, Bone regency.

Optimizing Student Activities and Learning Outcomes through Problem Solving Models in Stoichiometry Material

Purpose of the study: This study aims to improve student activity and learning outcomes by applying the Problem Solving learning model. Methodology: This research is a Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of the research were 33 students of class XC of State Senior High School 1 Wawonii. Data sources came from teachers and students. Data collection techniques were tests and non-tests (observation, document review). Data analysis used qualitative descriptive analysis techniques.. Main Findings: The results of the study showed that: Problem Solving model learning can improve student activity and learning outcomes, namely 71.00% in cycle I increasing to 85.33% in cycle II. Problem Solving model learning can improve student learning outcomes. The percentage of student learning outcome completion reached 64.63% in cycle I increasing to 81.82% in cycle II. From this study it can be concluded that the application of problem solving models can improve student activity and learning outcomes on the subject of stoichiometry. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study offers novelty by applying the Problem Solving Model to improve student learning activities and learning outcomes in Stoichiometry material, which has been considered difficult by many students.

The data analysis technique was descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results obtained in this study are a description of learning interest showing a very high category and learning discipline showing a very high category with learning activity showing a high category and learning interest and learning discipline have a significant relationship to student learning activity, especially in the high-grade UPT SD Negeri 23 Jeppe'e, Tanete Riattang Barat district, Bone regency.

PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBING PROMPTING PADA PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN PANCASILA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEAKTIFAN BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK KELAS V SD INPRES LABAT

This research is based on the existence of problems in classroom learning that cause low student learning activity, especially in the subject of Pancasila Education material Gotong Royong in the Environment Chapter 4 I and My Environment Learning 2. This research aims to increase the learning activity of students in Pancasila Education class V through the application of the Probing Prompting learning model. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in 2 cycles. Each cycle has four stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. This research was conducted at SD Inpres Labat, Kupang City. The subject of the study was class V students of SD Inpres Labat which consisted of 25 students. Data collection techniques are in the form of observations and tests. The results of the study show that learning using the Probing Prompting model can increase the learning activity of students in grade V of SD Inpres Labat. In the first cycle, the students' learning activity got good criteria with a percentage of 65%, while in the second cycle they got very good criteria with a percentage of 88.75%. So, the Probing prompting learning model can increase students' learning activity.

Enhancing Student Learning Activities Through Interactive Learning Design in Basic Physics I

Science is a systematic method for understanding nature, encompassing facts, concepts and principles, as well as the process of discovery through observation and experimentation. In physics education, it is crucial to provide students with opportunities to observe and experience the scientific process, both in laboratories and in natural settings. Contextual learning, employing an interactive approach bridging theory and practice, helps students grasp concepts more effectively. This research was conducted at Universitas Negeri Manado using experimental methods, employing a pre-test and post-test design to evaluate basic physics learning through a modified jigsaw method. The findings indicate a significant improvement in student learning outcomes following the implementation of an integrated instructional design combining practical activities with natural contexts. Pre-test and post-test data were analyzed using tests for normality and [Formula: see text]-tests, demonstrating the effectiveness of this method in enhancing mastery of physics concepts. In conclusion, integrating practical activities and natural contexts in learning can enhance student outcomes in basic physics courses.

Behavioral Intentions and Academic Outcomes of Using Social Media in Nepalese Higher Education

The purpose of this study was to close the knowledge gaps about how college students’ use of social media impacts their capacity for cooperation and communication. To gather data, 250 university students were given a questionnaire survey on constructivism theory, technology acceptance model, and communication theory. Even though male students were not entirely satisfied with peer contact for collaborative learning, the behavioral intention results of students to use social media for online communication and collaborative learning reveal a beneficial effect on their academic efforts in higher education institutions. As a result, we need to have urged students to use social media for learning through their instructors at universities. Master’s degree students are less in agreement with the performance improvements made by social media. According to the study, social media and cooperative learning enhance student learning activities and enable them to exchange ideas, information, and expertise.

Implementation of the Problem Posing Model to Improve Learning Outcomes of Grade 5 Students on the Human Digestive System Material

The problem posing learning model is a method that can increase student activity and involvement in learning. The problem posing model encourages students to ask questions, solve problems, and discuss collaboratively, so that they are able to build a deeper understanding of the material being studied. This study aims to determine the influence and contribution of the problem posing model on the learning outcomes of the human digestive system material of grade 5 SDN Mandurian Hilir. The study conducted experiments related to the problem posing model with a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The stages of using the problem posing model are: the planning stage, the implementation stage and the reflection stage with 3 descriptive questions. The results of the study found that there was an influence of the use of the problem posing learning model on student learning outcomes in the human digestive system material with a significant value of 0.045. These results indicate that the problem posing model is effective in improving understanding of learning outcomes in the human digestive system material in grade 5.

Background: Learning media is a component which takes place in the learning process for the education level. With the development of sophisticated technology, everyone in the education field is demanded to be able to apply the use of digital technology media for the learning process because of the unseparated use of technology in education. Objective: This activity aims to give a short course about making cartoon learning media using the makebeliefscomix.com web for learning activities for KB-RA Muslimat students. Method: This activity was carried out at KB-RA Muslimat Surabaya for 2 days to 8 teachers. The team provided material and created learning media using makebeliefscomix.com web and continued with material about marketing used as a theme in making cartoons. Results: The difficulties in creating learning media are in operating laptops, signing up, using email, determining topics, and incompatibility of material topics. However, all participants were able to complete the media creation well and enthusiastically and stated that this media is useful. Conclusion: All teacher participants were able to follow the instructions well, use and create interesting dialogue on the topic of marketing a product using Makebeliefscomix media even though they experienced several obstacles at the beginning of production.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN DYSMENORRHEA AND LEARNING ACTIVITIES IN STUDENTS AT SMA NEGERI 8 BATAM IN 2024

Menstruation is one of the signs of puberty in adolescent girls, where the uterine lining sheds followed by monthly bleeding. Menstruation is often accompanied by dysmenorrhea, which is cramping pain in the lower abdomen. This condition can disrupt daily activities, including learning activities. This study aims to determine the relationship between dysmenorrhea and learning activities among female students at SMA Negeri 8 Batam. The method used was quantitative with a cross-sectional design. The study population consisted of 467 female students from grade XI. The sample selection used a random sampling technique with the Slovin formula, resulting in 82 female students. The research was conducted in July 2024. Data were collected through questionnaires on dysmenorrhea and learning activities, then analyzed using the chi-square statistical test. Based on data analysis, the results showed that out of 72 respondents with dysmenorrhea, 54 (65.9%) experienced impaired learning activities, while 18 (22%) were not affected. None of the respondents without dysmenorrhea experienced activity impairment, and 10 (12.2%) respondents without dysmenorrhea did not experience any impairment. The results indicate a significant relationship between dysmenorrhea and learning activities with a p-value of 0.001 (< 0.05). This study concludes that dysmenorrhea affects the learning activities of female students at SMA Negeri 8 Batam in 2024, highlighting the need for health education about dysmenorrhea in schools.
