The activation parameters of viscous flow and the structure of concentrated polymer solutions

The free energies, heats and entropies of activation of viscous flow were calculated for solutions of different types of polymers. The above parameters were investigated in relation to temperature, solution concentration, molecular weight of the polymers and shear stress. The parameters in question were found to be highly sensitive to the structural stability and structural order of the solutions.
