Innovation is a necessity, because there is no stagnant life. Times keep changing, only people or institutions continue to innovate for surviving. While institutions which have no innovation are slow or fast, they are abandoned, stale, not marketable and do not keep up with the times. The innovation of pesantren-based schools is an effort to ensure that an institution continues to withstand the onslaught of modern era. Above destructive reality if not responded quickly, precisely, and intelligently will have more severe impact. In educational context, innovative ideas about pesantren-based schools and PAI learning innovation are one of the solutions which must be taken. Generally, PAI is as a nomenclature in schools, but it is not in Junior High School of Raudatut Tholabah, PAI learning developed at the school are Al-Qur'an - Hadith, Fiqh, SKI, and Aqidah Akhlak. The innovation of Islamic Learning Education Through Extracurricular Activities in SMP Raudatut Tholabah Jenggawah of Jember. It is the strengthening of religious values through the activities of having Dhuha Prayer and Dhuhur together, Reading and writing, tahfidzul and reading Al Qur'an together, Academic Guidance and Counseling Services, Scouting, Sports and the arts.

Hierarchical community detection and functional area identification with OSM roads and complex graph theory

ABSTRACTAn in-depth analysis of the urban road network structure plays an essential role in understanding the distribution of urban functional area. To concentrate topologically densely connected road segments, communities of urban roads provide a new perspective to study the structure of the network. In this study, based on OpenStreetMap (OSM) roads and points-of-interest (POI) data, we employ the Infomap community detection algorithm to identify the hierarchical community in city roads and explore the shaping role roads play in urban space and their relation with the distribution of urban functional areas. The results demonstrate that the distribution of communities at different levels in Guangzhou, China reflects the urban spatial relation between the suburbs and urban centers and within urban centers. Moreover, the study explored the functional area characteristics at the community scale and identified the distribution of various functional areas. Owing to the structure information contained in the identification process, the detected community can be used as a basic unit in other urban studies. In general, with the community-based network, this study proposes a novel method of combining city roads with urban space and functional zones, providing necessary data support and academic guidance for government and urban planners.

Application of a Fluid-Structure Interaction Model for Analysis of the Thermodynamic Process and Performance of Boil-Off Gas Compressors.

Boil-off gas (BOG) compressors are among the most critical devices in transportation and receiving systems for liquid natural gas (LNG) because they are used to pump out excess BOG from LNG storage tanks to ensure safety. Because of the ultralow suction temperature, the influence of heat transfer between the cold gas and the compressor parts on the in-cylinder thermodynamic process cannot be ignored. This paper reports the effects of suction temperature on the thermodynamic process and performance of a BOG compressor with consideration of gas pulsation. A computational fluid dynamics (CFD) model with dynamic and sliding meshes was established, in which user-defined functions (UDFs) were used to calculate the real-time valve lift to realize coupling between the thermodynamic process and the gas pulsation, and a performance test rig was constructed to verify the proposed numerical model. The simulated results agreed well with the experimental ones. The results show that as the suction temperature decreased from 30 °C to −150 °C, the first-stage volumetric efficiency decreased to 0.69, and the preheating increased to 45.8 °C. These results should provide academic guidance and an experimental basis for the design and optimization of BOG compressors.

Factors influencing effective use of big data: A research framework

Information systems (IS) research has explored “effective use” in a variety of contexts. However, it is yet to specifically consider it in the context of the unique characteristics of big data. Yet, organizations have a high appetite for big data, and there is growing evidence that investments in big data solutions do not always lead to the derivation of intended value. Accordingly, there is a need for rigorous academic guidance on what factors enable effective use of big data. With this paper, we aim to guide IS researchers such that the expansion of the body of knowledge on the effective use of big data can proceed in a structured and systematic manner and can subsequently lead to empirically driven guidance for organizations. Namely, with this paper, we cast a wide net to understand and consolidate from literature the potential factors that can influence the effective use of big data, so they may be further studied. To do so, we first conduct a systematic literature review. Our review identifies 41 factors, which we categorize into 7 themes, namely data quality; data privacy and security and governance; perceived organizational benefit; process management; people aspects; systems, tools, and technologies; and organizational aspects. To explore the existence of these themes in practice, we then analyze 45 published case studies that document insights into how specific companies use big data successfully. Finally, we propose a framework for the study of effective use of big data as a basis for future research. Our contributions aim to guide researchers in establishing the relevance and relationships within the identified themes and factors and are a step toward developing a deeper understanding of effective use of big data.

The Students Perception on The Service Quality of Primary Teacher Education (PGSD) in Faculty of Teacher Training And Education (FKIP) of Tanjungpura University (UNTAN)

The problem in this study was "How is the quality of service in the FKIP Untan PGSD study program that focuses on the problem: (1) how is the perception of PGSD students in academic guidance (PA)?; (2) how is academic service in PGSD ?; (3) what is the service of library staff at PGSD?; the purpose of the research is to find out: the perceptions of students on academic guidance, academic services at PGSD ?; and library staff services at PGSD. The place of research was conducted at PGSD. The subjects of the study were PGSD students in 2014, amounting to 180 people in the third semester and semester five students receiving the Bidik Misi scholarship. His research was in the form of a survey with a data collection tool used in the questionnaire and interview sheet. The results of the study are: (1) the role of the academic advisory service (PA) places the category well in the top position, namely 57, 41%, the category is very good (SB) at the second position which is 22.10%, enough in the third position 17.52% and less fourth position 2.96%. (2) the role of academic services places a good (B) category at the top position, namely 53.21%, while the excellent category places the second position which is 32.21%, enough in the third position 17.52% and less in the fourth position 2.96%. (3) the category of library service roles. The category of good at the top position is 45.47% while the excellent position occupies the second position 15.25%, enough in the third position 26.10% and less in the fourth position which is 12.92%, with the general conclusion that the Academic Advisor services (PA ), academic services and library services at PGSD are included in the good (B) category.

Automatic Classification of Academic and Vocational Guidance Questions using Multiclass Neural Network

The educational and professional orientation is an essential phase for each student to succeed in his life and his curriculum. In this context, it is very important to take into account the interests, occupations, skills, and the type of each student's personalities to make the right choice of training and to build a solid professional outline. This article deals with the problematic of educational and vocational orientation and we have developed a model for automatic classification of orientation questions. “E-Orientation Data” is a machine learning method based on John L. Holland’s Theory of RIASEC typology that uses a multiclass neural network algorithm. This model allows us to classify the questions of academic and professional orientation according to their four categories, thus allows automatic generation of questions in this area. This model can serve E-Orientation practitioners and researchers for further research as the algorithm gives us good results.

The experts consensus on the surgical treatment and perioperative management of cervical spondylosis (2018)

In order to standardize the surgical care and perioperative management for patients with cervical spondylosis, the Editorial Board of Chinese Journal of Surgery has organized the several meetings with certain experienced spine surgeons regarding prevent complications related to surgical procedure, ensure the treatment safety as well as in improving the outcome efficacy. In the meantime, the relevant focused issues and repeated consulting have been reviewed and presented on a larger spectrum. By 2 years efforts, the consensus has been developed for patients with different types of cervical spondylosis. The principle of surgical treatment, including surgical approach, operating procedures, technical consideration, the patient selection and evaluation criteria of cervical spondylosis have been elucidated. The decision-making and management have been also recommended during preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative respectively. For the controversies of surgical strategy and related clinical issues of cervical spondylosis, the principled and guided advices have been addressed. Due to certain limitation, this consensus is only attempted to provide a recommend conclusion either for the clinical practice or related studies in treatment strategy for patients with cervical spondylosis. This consensus only provides academic guidance.

A framework for smart academic guidance using educational data mining

The educational recommendation system to provide support for academic guidance and adaptive learning has always been an important issue of research for smart education. A bad guidance can give rise to difficulties in further studies and can be extended to school dropout. This paper explores the potential of Educational Data Mining for academic guidance recommendation by predicting students’ performance which involves analyzing data of students’ records, socio-economic data and of course the student’s motivation. The proposed model was analyzed and tested using student’s data collected from the preparatory classes for “Grandes Ecoles” Reda Slaoui (CPGE) - Morocco. More specifically, it proposes the use of three models that were applied on real data: Decision tree, Naive Bayes, and Neural networks. The data include the classes period (2012–2014 and 2013–2015) of 330 students in specialty the grade Mathematical Physics (MP) and Engineering Sciences (MPSI). The performance results indicate that our framework can make more accurate predictions of students’ performance.

Research also aim to found the barriers or obstacles encountered academic adviser in providing academic guidance services. This research use quantitative approach with questionare of Academic Advisory Service, interview the students and Academic Advisory Service, observation, and documentary study. Sample in this research are students of Guidance and Counseling Program Study and lecture who have the task as Academic Advisory in Guidance and Counseling Program Study. This research found that the Academic Advisory has giving all indicator service based on Statuta of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University and Standar Operational Procedur Academic Advisory Service. But, there are seceral obstacles or constraints faced by the Advisory Academid in the service of student guidance, such as time limitation od Advisory Academic, imbalance in the ratio between the number of Advisory Academid and discipline of students in following the schedule of academic guidance.

PENGUKURAN TINGKAT PEMAHAMAN MAHASISWA TERHADAP VISI MISI PROGRAM STUDI PENDIDIKAN BIOLOGI FKIP UNTAN

<p class="5abstrak">The Implementation of education in Higher Education must have the vision and mission to achieve a certain goal. The result of the vision and mission statement is socialized to get feedback as an evaluation and perfection of the vision and mission. The achievement of vision and mission that have been determined must be known, understood, and implemented by all academicians including students. This research was conducted to measure the level of students' understanding of the vision and mission of Biology Education Study Program of FKIP Untan. This research used qualitative approach with descriptive study. The subjects in this research were 246 students of Biology Education Study Program of FKIP Untan class of 2015, 2016, and 2017. The research instrument used was a questionnaire with closed and open statement. The results of this study indicated that in general the students have understood the vision and mission well. Data analysis showed that 236 (95,93%) students have read vision and mission, 190 (77,24%) and 204 (82,93%) students knew about vision and mission, 203 (33,44%), 101 (64%) students were the highest percentage of students who read the vision and mission in standing banner or class and in academic guidance book. Furthermore, 162 students (65.85 %) agreed that they have been well informed about the vision and mission, 165 students (67.07%) agreed that they have understood the vision and mission, 173 students (70.33%) agreed with the existence of vision and mission, and 159 students (64.63%) agreed that the vision and mission were used as references.</p>

(The importance of academic guidance)

(The importance of academic guidance) This study is concerned with how students are required to be directed prior to accepting to a university. Such guidance could be continued after students being admitted to the university psychologically, socially, scientifically, behaviorally and personally. This subject covers three parts: FirstPart : This is associated with how students are to be guided before accepting in a university both educationally and academically; for instance, students should be aware of whichacademic specialization they have to choose in line with their willingness and ambitions to be appropriate with their scientific abilities and in a way that to be associated with creating a job in market. Moreover,such awareness must be launched at last stage of high school so that students can have full information as to selecting their scientific departments at universities. Besides, this guidance should include moral aspect of students; for example,students' awareness should be raised fitted with the manners of their lives at universities, their behaviours with opposite sex, male or female, the way of their behaviours with teachers at universities, the way of taking advantage of technology and Internet, social media sites in particular Facebook. SecondPart : This focuses on the significance of students within university academically. In this sense, the education and the science do not possess any values if students are not directed to a right and respectable behaviour. This is due to the fact that students are akin to a column for asociety; the more students have good education, the better and more successful the society will be. In this respect, university is one of the foundations which is concerned with preparing students and raising their behaviors and moralities; hence, university should greatly shed light on the issue of directing students so that they can pay attention to their lectures and assignments in a way that prevents them from playingtruant,tests postponements, plagiarism and cheating,smoking or becoming addiction to drugs and alcohols , the rise of failures in exams , the way of treating with teachers at university. All of these factors have an adverse effect on students;therefore, it is of particular interest a high priority is given to the issue of students directing academically,psychologically,socially,vocationally, morally and personally. ThirdPart : It deals with the problem of to what extent public universities of Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) have placed importance on the issue of directing students. Conclusion : finally some findings regarding the study will be presented.

POLA PEMBIMBINGAN AKADEMIK DOSEN WALI SEBAGAI UPAYA EFEKTIVITAS MASA STUDI MAHASISWA

This study aimed at (1) describing the guidance of academic lecturers in PGSD FKIP UAD; (2) describing the effectiveness of lecturer’s guidance in improving the study period of PGSD FKIP UAD students. The research method used was mixed methods. Data collection techniques were conducted by interview, observation, questionnaire, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that academic guidance in Prodi PGSD FKIP UAD apply the guidance system with classical pattern, individual pattern, and digital pattern. The results showed that the pattern of coaching is done by combining the counseling patterns tailored to the conditions and situations of students. Based on the results of the analysis, the role of academic counselors in improving the study period of PGSD FKIP UAD students shows a significant role. This is indicated by 7% of respondents considered very important, 63% answered important, 21% important enough, and 9% answered is not important. Referring to these results, that the role of mentor is considered important to the continuity of student studies. Furthermore, counseling activities based on the results of the analysis show academic information activities (KRS) of 34%, 18% thesis consulting consultation, administrative consultation of 14%, and other consultations.

Qualitative Assessment of the Perceptions of Undergraduate Students and Advisors on Academic Guidance in Saudi Arabia

<p><em>This paper describes the perceptions of undergraduate students and their advisors on the role and challenges of academic guidance in Saudi Arabia. For this, five focus groups comprising six to eight students and one advisor were interviewed, and their responses to four questions were qualitatively analyzed. The responses from all groups emerged in four major themes, two related to the student’s perspectives and two related to those of the advisors. Overall, the students identified the unfamiliarity with the purpose of academic guidance and a failure of their advisors to follow their progress as the primary challenges. The advisors highlighted the lack of student feedback and academic guidance training as the obstacles to successful student progress. The findings presented here suggest that universities should incorporate student and advisor feedback into the academic guidance systems to ensure student success.</em></p>

The experts consensus on the classification, diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of cervical spondylisis(2018)

Cervical spine surgery with many focus and heated topics has gained increasing attention in the field of spine surgery. The surgical treatment has been widely adopted for routine treatment of cervical spondylosis in the various hospitals. According to the progressive research in recent years, the Editorial Board of Chinese Journal of Surgery convened related experts and organized in-depth discussions to standardize the diagonosis, classification and non-surgical treatment of cervical spondylosis, based on the summary of symposiums focusing on cervical spine, published in Chinese Journal of Surgery in 1984, 1992 and 2008 respectively. The consensus was finally reached following the summary of the basic concepts and controversial issues, which included increased accuracy in the definition and treatment principles of cervical spondylosis. In this consensus, the revision and modification of the classification and diagnostic criteria of cervical spondylosis was concerned as well as the basic principles and methods of non-surgical treatment of cervical spondylosis.This consensus only provides academic guidance.

The Obstacles Preventing Postgraduate Students from Benefiting from Scholarship Programs at Helwan University

The study aimed to identify the obstacles faced by postgraduate students who have the potential to benefit from scholarship programs at Helwan university, and aims to proposals for overcoming obstacles, from the viewpoint of researchers, for potential students to benefit from scholarship programs at Helwan university. the study community is a group of 50 students taking postgraduate studies at the faculty of social work at Helwan university. Social Survey methodology was used, and a measure was used to identify the most significant obstacles that are faced by students without the benefit of scholarship programs. the data were processed through the computer using the SPSS (V.19) statistical packages for social sciences. the study found several results, the most important of which was the lack of data and information being available about the terms and conditions of scholarship programs. other obstacles included: difficulty of making use of scholarships following late advertisement; non-application of clear criteria for nomination and deliberate development conditions that do not apply to many researchers but disrupt them; the weakness of the provider donor and health problems effecting access to the scholarship; lack of a foreign cultural center providing services in preparation of scholarship students ;lack of access to computer training courses in scientific research; poor knowledge of university terms for scholarships; difficulty in understanding some of the courses; difficulty in attending lectures in donor countries; difficulty of language communication with donor state supervision; and poor access to academic guidance.

Cultural Learning of Rejang Ethnic

The aim of this study resulted in a description of the learning culture of the Rejang ethnic. The scope of the study includes: 1) description of the learning culture of Rejang, 2) description of cultural differences in learning of Rejang tribe by gender, and study program 3) The implications of learning culture on the guidance of academic flow in improving students' curiosity in learning. The method used in this study is cross sectional survey with quantitative approach with stages of spreading the questionnaire to Rejang students in science (IPA) and IPS majors in SMA Negeri 2 Curup, Rejang Lebong regency which amounted to 79 students and then analyzed by using T test. The usefulness of this study is as a basis for developing academic flow guidance strategy in improving student curiosity in learning.

Chinese expert consensus on tetanus immunization

Tetanus is an acute specific infection caused by obligate anaerobes, which is still a serious public health problem. Tetanus bacterium is an obligate anaerobic bacterium, widely distributed in nature, which can exist in dust, soil, human or animal excrement. The bacteria invade the body primarily through the skin or mucosal wounds, and most commonly in trauma and burn patients, unclean newborns, and unsafe surgical instruments. Exotoxin produced by tetanus bacteria can cause temporary changes in the central nervous system, manifested as systemic skeletal muscle persistence and paroxysmal spasm, severe cases of laryngospasm, asphyxia, lung infections and organ failure, which is a very serious and potentially fatal disease. This article is an expert consensus on the tetanus immunologic defense, aiming to aid the clinical decision making after open injury. According to epidemiological investigation of tetanus, types of injured population, wound exposure and misunderstandings of immunologic defense, the key measures to prevent tetanus are good wound management and immunization. This statement describes a preventive framework of tetanus immunization, including the tetanus immunization programs of infants, pregnant women, potentially high-risk population, immunodeficiency patients and children born to HIV-infected mothers. This consensus only provides academic guidance, the treatment of the patient must be based on the prevailing medical conditions.
