Abstract

The principles on which our recent theory of stereospecific propene polymerization with α-TiCl3/AlR3 was based, appear applicable to a much wider field. Not only can the molecular structures of diene polymers prepared with the same catalyst system be explained but also the change in molecular structure of polymers on variation of the crystal structure of the solid phase of the catalyst.
