Abstract

Using the secondary growth method, a continuous zeolite Y film was prepared on a conducting FTO glass substrate. The synthetic gel composition was optimized to contain no cracks. This method provides a simple and effective way of controlling the thickness of zeolite Y films and expands the possible range of applications for molecular sieve films. Therefore, as presented in this study, zeolite Y film on a transparent conducting oxide glass such as FTO glass can furnish electrodes with size and ionic selectivity.
