Abstract

The research deals with the study of Zanzibar during the reign of Sultan Barghash bin Said Al Busaidi (1870-1888 AD), where the authority moved after the death of Sultan Majid bin Said Al Busaidi to be under the command of his brother Barghash, who played a major role on the political and civilized levels that led to the development of Zanzibar and made it among the areas referred to Her sons at that time.
