Abstract

The complete collection of the laws of the Russian Empire, summarized in a single edition of 1830, is a unique monument of the cultural heritage of the country. Using it as an ethnographic source will allow us to show not only the evolution of the domestic institute of jurisprudence, but also the diffusion of legal norms of European peoples, followed by ethno-cultural and socio-political adaptation to Russian conditions.
