Abstract
Zacin is the brand name of a new topical analgesic cream produced by Bioglan Laboratories. Its active ingredient is capsaicin, a naturally occurring alkaloid purified 1000–fold from red chilli peppers. This article discusses its use in the treatment of joint pain which is directly attributable to osteoarthritis.
