Abstract
The Yueh-Gin Gung and Dr. Charles Y. Hu Award for Distinguished Service to Mathematics is the most prestigious award made by the Mathematical Association of America. This award, first presented in 1990, is the successor to the MAA Award for Distinguished Service to Mathematics, given since 1962. The award is for service to mathematics that has been widely recognized as extraordinarily successful, with contributions made that influence the field of mathematics or mathematics education
