Abstract

Objectives: Klebsiella pneumoniae is responsible for most morbidity and mortality caused by hospital-acquired infection and is the most frequently isolated Klebsiella species. Immunosuppression, administration of broadspectrum antibiotics, intravenous and urinary catheters pose risk to intensive care patients for developing K. pneumoniae infections. Early diagnosis and prevention of the developed outbreak with suspician based on cases who unexpected development of sepsis was examined
