Abstract

The aim of the current article is to analyze the effects of applying adapted educational activities, through building a multimedia instructional platform with adaptive features. The development of abilities in students can be strengthen doing different instructional activities, it is known that each student has a different way of learning, a fact that can be molded with different criteria. On the other hand, an adaptive educational platform is an e-learning system that provides customized learning objectives for students, according to their personal characteristics, optimizing in this way their learning process. With the above, we propose an adaptive model focused in multimedia activities, which was implemented in an adaptive educative platform prototype, seeking to validate the efficacy of data obtained from students, and an adequate activity adaption process. After building an educative test unit, this platform was tested in different schools with the purpose of validating the proposed mechanism and obtain conclusions about the effects of applying this in activity realization.
