Abstract

On the basis of a careful study of all kinds of water and hydrological cycles on the Earth the author comes to the conclusion that mankind does not face any danger of water shortage even in the remote future. This optimistic conclusion is, however, valid on the assumption that an obligatory condition is fulfilled, i.e. the development and implementation of measures on the national and international level providing a rational use and protection of water resources of our planet against depletion and pollution.
