Abstract
Background: Technology has emerged significant in Psychiatry during the Pandemic. Online consultations in Psychiatry and Mental Health Care has seen a significant increase. Psychiatrists need relevant up-skilling and training for practise of Technology and Psychiatry.The Indian Psychiatric Society Specialty Section on Technology and Psychiatry proposes to conduct the 2nd National workshop on Skill Development in Technology and Psychiatry Practice at ANCIPS2022.Aims and Objectives:To understand role of Technology and its applications in Psychiatry Practice.To understand the hardware and software aspects of Technology in Psychiatry Practice.To gain insights into Technology enabled Clinics.To gain perspectives into Pre Consultation , Consultation and Post Consultation aspects of Technology and Psychiatry.To develop understanding of regulations and complianceTarget Audience:Psychiatrists, PG trainees, Allied Health ProfessionalsMethods:This workshop shall be conducted at ANCIPS2022, Vishakapatnam. It shall be conducted by the IPS Technology and Psychiatry Specialty Section.Dr Parmod Kumar, Chairperson shall talk about Technology enabled Clinic with focus on e Prescription and on-line consultation.Dr Darpan Kaur, CoChairperson shall talk about Applications of Technology in Psychiatry Practice with a special focus on pre consultation, consultation and post Consultation aspects.Dr Seema Parija, Convener shall talk about Hardware and Software aspects of Technology and Psychiatry practice with focus on regulations and medicolegal aspects.Conclusion: The workshop shall conclude with Q and A and work shop based activities
