Abstract
Women's health is examined from three perspectives: the health needs of women as a person (personhood), as a woman (womanhood), and as a mother (motherhood). Women's health is looked at from other vantage points: as the stimulus for the generation of issues, an area of widespread public concern, dispute, or disagreement; and as an investment, worthy of time and money because it will ultimately pay dividends.
