Abstract
In recent decades, library and information science have seen substantial changes in their operational aspects, including personnel patterns, services, and collection growth. In addition, the librarian provides online services to attract the attention of the user community. Library science, like other scientific disciplines, has made great progress in recent years due to the abundant influx of information and data. The present study based on questionnaire, and the analysis shows that women library professional with a higher level of qualification expressed greater work satisfaction compared to those with lower qualifications. The results of this study might make a significant contribution to the improvement of the library profession in India.
