Abstract

Wnt signaling plays crucial roles in heart development but becomes silent in postnatal hearts. It is reactivated in arrhythmogenic heart diseases, such as cardiac hypertrophy and heart failure. We explored the potential role of Wnt signaling in arrhythmogenic electrical remodeling by examining ion channel and connexin changes in postnatal cardiomyocytes with activated Wnt signaling.
