Abstract
The psychological role of physical activity is an important knowledge to exercise psychology. Physical activity has a certain role in promoting mental state, which can promote positive emotions and slow down negative emotions. It can keep people happy and maintain an optimistic attitude. However, in recent years, research on the overall effect of physical activity on mental states has rarely appeared in my country's achievements. Therefore, this article mainly studies the relationship between college students' physical activities and unhealthy mental states. This paper adopts research methods such as literature method, experimental argumentation method, mathematical statistics method and comparative analysis method. This article analyzes the relationship between the basic physical activities of 500 college students and their unhealthy psychological conditions. The results show that during effective physical activity, students' various functional states fluctuate with changes in exercise intensity and time. Physical activity has no decisive effect on mental state. Although physical activity is largely positively correlated with mentality, the amount of physical activity can promote the improvement of negative emotions to a certain extent, but the impact of positive emotions is not as obvious as that of negative emotions. The higher the physical activity index of college students, the better their mental health status, interpersonal relationship status and emotional status. On the contrary, the less physical activity of college students, the more obvious the unhealthy mental state. • Physical activity is positively related to tension, fatigue and confusion. • Proper physical activity is definitely more beneficial to students than a lifestyle without meditation. • Too longtime physicalactivity makes body feel tired easily.
