Abstract

Abstract Identifying the boundary between India and other countries was difficult for the Tamilnadu fishermen, so they come across many problems for the past 15 years. Global system of mobile communication (GSM), Global positioning system (GPS) and Zigbee satellite dish used in previous research papers, for detecting the margin between the two countries it helps both fishermen and coastal guards to identify the boundary. This method does not work in all situations, for example, if the satellite signal is low the system fails to report the message. To overcome this limitation a new system was proposed which uses IoT Technology. In this system Wi-Fi IoT Sensor was embedded with a GPS device that is used to give alert through the alarm when the boat is near to the margin of other country and additional to this it also sends the message to coastal guards about the location of the boat. Humidity and Temperature sensor are also used in this system which sense, measure and reports weather information like moisture, air temperature, and rainfall which helps fishermen to come out from dangerous situations. The research helps the fishermen to navigate and identify our country coastal boundary in the sea.
