Abstract
The aim iof ithis ipaper iis ito discuss ithe connectedness of Julia sets of quadratic polynomials. This paper includes the iiteration of irational ifunction iand ithe theorems iwhich icharacterize the iJulia iset as iconnected or itotally idisconnected. The repelling fixed points of f are discussed. If f(z)=z 2 -2, J(f) iis ia isubset of the real interval i[-2,2]. J(f) iis iconnected and iit iis the interval i[-2,2].
