Abstract

Abstract Cardiovascular disease is one of the deadly disease. Monitoring the heart rate is one of the positive contribution of the cardiovascular disease. Variations in heart rate is one of the symptoms of heart disease. Detection of changes in heart rate and providing preventive measures plays a major role in heart disease monitoring. It is not possible to take ECG test frequently because of its price and reliability. In this system a solution is developed using Internet of things for the prediction of the heart disease conditions and alerting the care taker about heart disease condition. Fluctuations of heart rate are detected using heart rate sensor. An arrhythmic heart beat is detected using finger tip heart rate sensor and it is classified using linear regression. The results will be secured through Light weight encryption algorithm. An automatic alarm can be sent to the nearest health care and care taker in an emergency situation.
