PAUL, MINN. — Coming from a social justice background, Katheryne Staeger‐Wilson has sometimes been frustrated that her role has seemed to be about gatekeeping, ensuring minimum compliance, and protecting the university rather than helping students. She's director of the Disability Resource Center at Missouri State University. She took steps to change her role.
