Abstract
The article contains arguments for the re-institutionalisation of social work in Poland, pointing out the consequences of: (1) including representatives of semi-professionals in social welfare system, (2) overload of public education employees, (3) poor mental health situation of children and adolescents, (4) the COVID pandemic-19 and mass migration from Ukraine for social welfare organisation, (5) implementation of deinstitutionalisation policy and (6) demographic and health changes of Polish society.
