Abstract

AbstractThe author is a now‐retired, longstanding leader in the United States Air Force. He relates the leadership of Frances Hesselbein to the lyrics and title of music in the Broadway hit show, Hamilton, about Alexander Hamilton, one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. The author writes: “What might be impossible to document is the ripple outward of her impact and example to the hundreds of thousands…no, millions of people she impacted through simple words, consistently spoken and lived, over the century‐plus of her life.”
