Abstract
Whisker crystals which grew from solder terminations in an electrotransport process are described. Tin single crystals formed from a lead-tin solder; an In 3Sn single crystal from at in-indium solder. These single crystals were less than 5 μm in section and straight, kinked or irregular in the growth direction.
