Abstract

In high energy heavy ion collisions a hot and dense medium is formed. In these media large back-to-back correlations of protons and anti-protons are observable in ultra-relativistic collisions, similarly to the Andreev reflection of electrons off the boundary of a super conductor. While quantum statistics normally should suppress such behavior the in-medium correlations should promote them so that they could theoretically become of similar strength as bosonic back-to-back correlations. So far only perfect in-medium configurations have been considered possibly limiting the analysis performed so far requiring to look at the interacting case.
