Abstract

Autism is often surrounded by misconceptions, especially regarding behaviours that society deems abnormal. It is crucial to understand that many of these behaviours are not inherently problematic but are perceived as such due to societal norms and social codes. This article aims to shed light on how autistic behaviours are often natural responses to the complex and sometimes unforgiving landscape of social interaction.
