Abstract

Although atrial thrombuses are not very common, may represent as tumors. Urgent surgery is indicated in patients to prevent pulmonary embolism, acute valve obstruction or heart failure. We review here the clinical features, epidemiology, diagnosis and treatment of five interesting cases with atrial thrombuses.
