Abstract
Evidence-Based Answer Common adverse effects occurring at the injection site of meningococcal vaccine (MCV) injection include redness, swelling, induration, and pain. Common systemic reactions include fever, headache, fatigue, malaise, arthralgias, chills, myalgias, nausea, and rash.
