Well‐Defined Cyclopentadienyl NHC Iron Complex as the Catalyst for Efficient Hydrosilylation of Amides to Amines and Nitriles

Abstract

A variety of secondary and tertiary aromatic and aliphatic amides is successfully reduced to the corresponding amines, e.g. (II), (IV), (VI) and (VIII), by visible light-induced Fe—NHC-catalyzed hydrosilylation reaction.
