Abstract

Cloud computing is becoming the most widely used technology as the next-generation platform for conducting business. Many cloud providers offer the same functionalities, but have different quality of service (QoS) attributes. Thus the selection of cloud services, which meets the user-desired QoS requirements, has become increasingly complex. In this paper, we present a method that integrates both subjective and objective weights for evaluating the cloud services. This method is based on rough set theory and a proposed extended version of Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) and takes into consideration the trust level associated with the experts, whose evaluations are considered in the calculation of subjective weights, and the preferences of the end user.
