Abstract

We consider a SU(5) model coupled to N = 1 supergravity, which involves the 75, 50 and 50 representations of Su(5) in its heavy sector. We show that the weak interaction gauge symmetry breaking can be generated without any restriction on the top quark mass and without introducing any light singlet chiral superfield.
