PurposeThis paper provides a historical review of developmental and life-course criminology. MethodsIt uses a narrative and historical approach. ResultsSeveral turning points are identified that have shaped the study of developmental and life-course criminology. ConclusionsDevelopmental and life-course criminology is criminology. Directions for future inquiry are noted.
