Abstract

The article deals with the problem of improving the personal self-regulation of social workers. On the basis of the analysis of scientific literature, the specificity of changes in the sphere of self-regulation of a social worker is examined both during the period of adaptation to the profession and depending on the peculiarities of professional activity. The classification of mechanisms of self-regulation at different levels of psychical actions is given. The regularities of the influence of the social situation of parents of children with special needs on the sphere of self-regulation of this category of adults are determined. Emphasizes the need for social workers working with such clients to be aware of the specifics of the changes taking place in their psychological sphere. The following ways of improving the personal self-regulation of social workers are offered, such as mastering the skills of self-regulation in the process of training work. A program of training active social psychological training for specialists working with families of disabled children is presented. The place of this training in the educational process is determined. A list of expected practical results of the Personal Growth Training for specialists is given.The results of the study of the level of stress resistance of social workers before and after the training are presented. It emphasizes the effectiveness of this form of work with specialists, taking into account the specifics of the social situation of clients
