Abstract

A high-power single-frequency tunable continuous-wave 1342 nm laser was demonstrated based on a master-oscillator power amplifier system consisted of a polarized seed laser, and a five-stage dual-rod Nd:YVO4 power amplifier. An output power of 44.1 W at 1341.6 nm was obtained. The beam quality factors of M2 were measured to be = 1.165 along the x axis direction and = 1.178 along the y axis direction, respectively. Its wavelength tunable range is 1341.0 nm–1343.0 nm. To the best of our knowledge, it is the highest power for the single-frequency 1341.6 nm laser.
