Abstract
February 5–6—A moderate disturbance began with a sudden commencement in all three elements at 19h 50m GMT, February 5. The temporary lull in activity which occasionally follows a sudden commencement lasted until 9h, February 6, after which and until the end of the day all three traces were moderately disturbed, the maximum activity being shown between 13h and 15h. Throughout the disturbance the movements were of the “peak” and “bay” order rather than rapid fluctuations of short period. Ranges: D, 23′.0; H, 122 gammas; Z, 174 gammas.
