Abstract
The article is devoted to the bright memory of Oleksii Leontiyovych Pidgorny. A talented artist, architect, poet, teacher, leader and, without a doubt, a world-renowned scientist. A specialist who not only created a unique scientific school, bringing geometric theories and methods to architecture and construction. Back in the seventies, he ingeniously predicted the innovative role of geometric tools in the tasks of architectural and building physics, energy efficiency and eco-architecture. Oleksiy Leontiyovych's profound kindness, warmth and humanity won over everyone who knew him. It was these features that were the basis on which our scientific father obtained his high achievements. To describe the life path of O.L. Podhorny's authors used poems and memories from his first and last author's collection of poetry and painting "Colors of Life". Poems-memoirs best illustrate the multifaceted personality and attitude to life of Oleksii Leontiyovych. They help us to once again feel the joy and warmth of communicating with him, which unfortunately remain with us now only in memory... And this memory will always be as warm as the bright spring holiday in honor of which our son was baptized scientific father.
