Abstract

This study aims to determine the reality of added value in copra farmer groups in Leko-Sula Village, to find out whether the concept of the added value of walimah can help copra farmers in Leko-Sula Village, and to find out whether the walimah concept can provide benefits for copra farmers in the village. Lek-Sula. The results of this study indicate that there are three findings of altruistic added value in Walima culture that are carried out by the people of Leko Sula village, where this altruistic added value includes, the added value of mutual cooperation, which is a value that is inseparable from the walima culture, or what is considered equivalent to walima itself. Second, is the added value of friendship, where this added value becomes the basis of mutual cooperation which later became cultured and known as Walima. And finally, the added value of responsibility, which is obtained from the principle of mutual cooperation in turn and also the sanctions are given to those who are absent, thus creating a sense of responsibility in maintaining the mandate of the agreement that was mutually agreed upon previously
