Abstract

Nowadays, virtual reality (VR) technology has been widely used in the field of education. Especially in equipment courses of post-oriented education, utilizing VR technology can provide a realistic simulating training environment and effectively solve the problems of lacking new actual equipment, reducing training risks of certain dangerous operations, etc. However, the improvement of teaching effect based on VR technology still needs to be continuously studied. In this paper, we mainly study the approach of applying VR technology in equipment courses. Firstly, we discuss the technical characteristics of equipment teaching based on VR technology. Then, in developing the VR teaching system for the teaching of equipment courses, the main functional components and the corresponding application process are analyzed. Finally, we propose the specific method of applying VR technology in equipment courses to achieve better teaching effects from the aspects of information teaching resource allocation, training task construction, training mode selection, exploratory practice enhancement and evaluation method design.
