Abstract

This study examines the four attributes of VR media art from a media aesthetic point of view and discursively
describes the case analysis of related works and the possibility of expanding VR media art in the future. As a
result of this study, the possibility of VR expansion will expand as the technological development of media
increases in the use and utility of multiple media for the scalability of multimedia VR media art. Second, the
expandability of VR media art is highly likely to expand in the future because it completely absorbs and
accepts existing media as new media, which is repackaged and exhibits the characteristics of immaterial
immersion. Third, the media ecosystem VR media art scalability is inevitable because the relationship between
humans and media is inevitable, so if the interaction of each organism is strengthened, the possibility of
expansion is high. Fourth, the scalability of media-emotional VR media art is not highly likely to expand by
itself because the implied media form and media-emotional expression method of interacting VR are different.
However, from a media aesthetic point of view, the possibility of confirmation may increase because the
emotional interpretation and expression according to the user's five senses are abundant.
