Abstract
The article is a continuation of the authors' research on the significance of the Grozny oil region during the Great Patriotic War. The authors focus on the final stage of the war and the beginning of the restoration of the Grozny oil industry. Based on the analysis of archival materials, some of which are being introduced into scientific circulation for the first time, the tasks facing the oil-producing and oil-refining industry of the country were identified; shows the difficulties that happened to be encountered in the restoration of enterprises in Grozny; the results of the forced recovery of the industry in the region in 1944-1945 are analyzed.
