Abstract

The critical current density and the normalized relaxation rate are reported in proton irradiated Ba(Fe0.93Co0.07)2As2 at a dose of 1.2×1016cm−2. Critical current density is enhanced to 2.4×106A/cm2 at 2K under zero field, which is more than twice as large as that in a pristine sample. With the study of normalized relaxation rate and magnetization loop, the conventional vortex creep description becomes valid as well as fish-tail effect is lost in a proton irradiated system. We also discuss the origin of the anomalous field dependence of the relaxation rate around zero field.
