Abstract

The effects of gold ion implantation either on both surfaces of melt-textured bulk samples or just on one surface are compared. The aim of the work is to rule out the role played by vortex channeling inside surface layers in to changing bulk properties. It is shown that characteristic behaviors related to the vortex localization do not depend linearly on the irradiated volume.
