Abstract
Vortex beams are beams with a spiral phase distribution and zero central light intensity. In recent years, it has been widely studied and applied. This article first analyses the characteristics of the vortex beam from a theoretical perspective, and then introduces the application of the vortex beam to optical tweezers.
