Abstract
The anisotropic diffusion of point defects to voids in bcc and fcc lattices is investigated. It is demonstrated that the point defect currents to voids are sensitive to the elastic properties of point defects in the saddle points of diffusion jumps. The bias factors of voids, corrected for the diffusion anisotropy, turn out to be larger than predicted by earlier models, and their parametric dependencies are different.
