Abstract
Cardiometabolic Disease (CMD) is a cluster of conditions that increase the risk for cardiovascular events, but its relationship with vitamin D status has not been studied in Ghana. In this cross-sectional study, we investigated the interrelationship between vitamin D status and obesity, type 2 diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and dyslipidemia, and known CMD risk factors, in 302 healthy adults from the Northern Region of Ghana.
