Abstract
In this manuscript we present for the first time the viscosity measurements of 15-crown-5 (15C5) in the mixtures of N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF) and water (W) over the temperature range from 293.15 to 308.15K. The values of dynamic, η, and relative viscosity, ηr, were calculated on the basis of the fluid flow time. These values were employed to analyze the viscosity coefficient B of Jones–Dole's equation as well as its derivative relative to temperature (dB/dT). These functions play an important role in the interactions between the mixture component molecules, which makes it more possible to determine their destroying or reinforcing influence on the solvent structure.
