Abstract

Abstract: Virtual assistant, introduces a method for creating a personalized digital assistant that can understand and respond to users' emotions, offering an innovative approach to enhancing user interactions. This innovation goes beyond traditional chatbots, aiming to provide a more enjoyable and helpful experience, with potential benefits for individuals dealing with social anxiety and depression. The digital assistant's primary function is to identify users' emotions and provide mood-enhancing suggestions. To achieve this, the project employs advanced machine learning techniques, with a specific focus on recognizing emotions from facial expressions. Overcoming the challenge of different variations in how individuals express their feelings, the project utilizes a huge dataset of images displaying a wide range of emotions. This dataset significantly improves the model's accuracy in recognizing emotions, ensuring a more effective emotional response from the assistant. Users can interact with the VA for various tasks, such as checking the time, date, or weather, and receiving answers to their questions.
