VIRTUAL MOUSE USING EYE MOVEMENTS FOR HANDICAPPED

Abstract

A disabled person’s life is always dependent on someone else who needs aid with mobility or any other task. Individuals with disabilities may face challenges when using computers. The most common way of interacting with computers is using a mouse and keyboard. It is difficult for people with physical disabilities to use them. Facial movements and voice commands are one of the best possible actions by physically disabled individuals, by recognizing and responding to these movements and commands , it is possible for them to operate the computer using only their eye movements. Eye movement recognition and voice command is a contemporary approach to interaction between humans and computers. The proposed system can easily control the computers by using eye movement and voice command recognition. It can be a viable replacement for traditional system in the future.
